Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the services provided by Laney at Laney Rose Letters through its website and in connection with custom orders and drop-off orders. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Company's services.

Custom Orders
By placing a custom embroidery order with the Laney Rose Letters (LRL), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Order Placement: All custom orders are to be placed through the LRL website or by contacting the LRL directly through the provided contact information.

2. Personalization: LRL will embroider custom designs, logos, or text as per the customer's specifications. Customers are responsible for providing accurate and detailed instructions for the custom embroidery work.

3. Payment: The customer agrees to pay the specified price for the custom embroidery work, including any additional charges for rush orders or expedited shipping, if applicable. Payment is to be made in full either at the time of the order placement or when completed. This is situational and can be discussed between Laney & customer.

4. Artwork Approval: LRL will provide a digital proof of the custom embroidery design for approval before production. It is the customer's responsibility to review and approve the design before production begins. Once approved, changes may not be possible.

5. Production Time: The production time for custom embroidery work will be communicated to the customer at the time of order placement. LRL will make every effort to meet the agreed-upon timeline, taking into account the complexity of the design and any unforeseen circumstances.

6. Quality Assurance: LRL will strive to deliver the custom embroidery work that meets the customer's specifications and quality expectations. However, as custom orders are made to order, slight variations in color and placement may occur.

Drop-Off Orders
By dropping off items for embroidery with the Company, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Order Drop-Off: Customers may drop off items to be embroidered at the Company's designated drop-off location any time. All drop off items or sack containing items must be labeled with name and contact info.  Embroidery specifications can be communicated via email, text, phone or attached paper.

2. Item Condition: Customers are responsible for ensuring that the items dropped off for embroidery are clean, in good condition, and suitable for embroidery. LRL reserves the right to refuse items that are deemed unsuitable for embroidery.

3. Artwork Approval: If customers request custom designs or logos or proofs for the drop-off items, LRL will provide a digital proof for approval before production. Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving the design before production begins.

4. Pickup Time: Customers will be notified when the embroidered items are ready for pickup. Items are to be picked up promptly upon notification. Any items left unclaimed after the specified pickup period may be subject to storage charges or disposal at the LRL’s discretion.

General Terms
1. Ownership and Rights: The customer represents and warrants that they have the legal right to reproduce any artwork, logos, or designs provided to LRL for custom embroidery. LRL assumes no liability for any unauthorized reproduction.

2. Refunds and Exchanges: Due to the custom nature of the embroidery work, all sales are final, and no refunds or exchanges will be offered unless there is a manufacturing defect or error on LRL's part.

3. Limitation of Liability: LRL shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the custom embroidery work, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data.

4. Modification of Terms: LRL reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the LRL's services following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

By using the LRL's services for custom embroidery orders and drop-off orders, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Company's services.
